What a deep intense look ! The look of an adult in a young boy... You took the essence of it. A touching portrait Maciej ! I also like the colours, sharpness and composition. It is again a great work.

Sometimes I don't agree with your photo selection. It's the case right now : this is a portrait like there are thousands of... you wouldn't write "puddle", nobody would have guessed or even noticed.

That might be technically fine, but what's new around... what's really exciting PHOTOWISE (not speaking about the dozens or critiques at will follow mine and would say ohhhh what a cute kid bla bla bla...).

Nice portrait here Maciej, such strong eyes which can't be avoided. Unsure as to how poor or great this kids conditions are that he lives in, but the bright green in the background seems to provide an uplifting feeling.

Hi Maciej,
This is a very impressive portrait!
The thumbnail doesnt make honour to the open picture.
You got an incredible ammount of sharp and clear details on that face!
The light and hues got on that skin are magnificent.
And you made a sensational composition with that green band, so nicely blurred at the background.
What else to say about that stare!

Thing is this, Maciej: yes it's a child portrait but, what distinguishes it from all the "cute" exemplars out there are two things:
1. He is not smiling - this is a very serous, soulful, needy look
2. The tremendous care you put into the shot.
It's a very good PRO shot for NGO purposes, no doubt about it.

Maciej, I see Luko's point, and it's worth noting, but still, even if we are accustomed to another approach by you, this shot is too beautiful, too striking to miss. The boy's face is clearly captivating, his eyes indescribably beautiful, and the puddle behind him is heartwrenching...
