[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On our way back down from Tsiafajavona, the third highest peak of Madasgascar, through a break in the trees on the side of the path we were walking down a lovely valley appeared.

Our guide asked us what was missing there (he had talked about the village on the way up, telling strange stories about those that lived there). We pondered as we looked at the darkening landscape.

Having not found the answer he told us: the villages in that valley have no tombs! There is a powerful taboo there about burying the dead anywhere near the living and so they are buried several kilometers away...

You tell an interesting story and you have captured a nice landscape scene as you walked down the track. I have done a little workshop - hope you don't mind. It is not necessarily better just different.
