[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a photo taken from the rim of one of the many canals that irrigate these terrassed rice paddies.

We had climbed there to visit a micro-hydropower station a local engineer had invested in. He showed us the turbine (he had had it built locally from blueprints taken from the internet!) and then took us to see where the water he was using was coming from.

Suddenly the landscape opened up as we reached the rim of a canyon where the river all that water came from ran...

Tu me pardonneras cette nostalgie que je vais chercher dans tes photos, puisque j'ai quitté mon job à Mada il y a tout juste un an.
Mais tes PdV me ramènent à des endroits connus et des moments d'extase devant tant de beauté, au bord de la route;
Là je vois bien le coin, juste derrière Betafo.
