Jouets du monde
Noël approche à grands pas. Dans les pays occidentaux, la grande fête commerciale bat son plein. Évidemment, les jouets se taillent la part du lion. Les parents s’inquiètent au sujet de la qualité des jouets qu’ils vont mettre dans les mains de leurs chérubins. Ces jouets sont pour la plupart fabriqués en très grandes séries, en Chine. Madagascar a une autre approche du marché. On trouve des boutiques artisanales le long de la RN7. Il est certain que ces jouets ne sont pas conformes aux normes exigées en Europe. Ces jouets sont faits avec des matières de récupération, mais ont un certain charme, je trouve. Le gamin se coupera-t-il sur une arête tranchante ? Le gamin mettra-t-il dans sa bouche la petite roue peinte avec une peinture diluée au benzène ? Tout un suspense que les parents occidentaux ne peuvent plus accepter. Comment ai-je survécu ?

Toys of the world
Christmas is now soon. In the Western countries, the great commercial festival is at its maximum. Obviously, the toys are the super stars. The parents worry about quality of toys which they will put in the hands of their children. These toys for the majority are manufactured in very large series, in China. Madagascar has another approach of the market. One finds artisan shops along the RN7. It’s certain these toys are not in conformity with the standards required in Europe. These toys are made with recovery materials, but have a certain charm, I find. Will the kid cut himself on a sharp edge? Will the kid put in his mouth the small wheel painted with a painting diluted with benzene? A whole suspense which the Western parents cannot accept any more. How did I survive?

Bien sur, il y a le petit côté nostalgie...
Mais il y a surtout ce bon témoignage sur la façon de vivre!!
Une très belle réalisation avec de superbes couleurs pour cet artisanat local. Il y a quand même un sacré travail sur ces jouets!!

Funny and sad to see how globalization doesn't even stop in front of how toys are being made for kids. Trucks with Toyota, Coca-Cola and so on preparing those kids to get used to what they are supposed to buy once they are grown up.
Very colorful and contrastful shot.
