Beautiful African sunset... so magical moment with amazing light... The surrounding resounds with voices of insects, birds and reptiles... This is genuine concert of nature... wonderful and touching...
I love this atmosphere, I miss African sunsets... but I 'm going to remember these emotions soon... in the heart of African land :o)

Beautiful composition with a very nice, natural silohuetted frame. The colours are great and I like that the subject is repeated (via docked boats) in the bottom.

It is always a fussy issue to take a shoot directly into the sun, but YOU did a great job here.

Great sunset shot with fantastic colors.
Good compositiion with the boats,people and nice vegetation as foreground.Excellent sharpness and again:wonderfull colors the surface of this lake looks fantastic.

A great sunset photo. I like the way the shape of the cloud is repeated by the shape of the piece of land sticking out into the water. Your composition with the boats, people and plants in silohuette in the foreground is wonderful. Magagascar is a beautiful place and you have captured that feeling well.

This is a stunning sunset and technically superb. The detail and sharpness is great and the silhouettes are just right. You have avoided any flare and the colouring is wonderful. Great work.

the exelland orange coloring sunset is not the main here!!!the main is the shadows to the bottom of the foto..they have one special similarity..the figures of the boats and the human present..is superb!!!!managment of the light is the best...!!!GNGRS my frend...Nikiforos

Yes I'm back as you already noticed. Thanks for your warmful welcome! I also miss a lot Africa and the atmosphere that comes out that picture. It's really beautiful. Well chosen POV, very nice colours and good composition with that pirogue in silhouette. I think I won't miss Tsiribihina river when I'l go back to Mada!

Hi there Andrzej,

Great shot! Lovely colours. In my opinion one of the most lovely shot from last 10 pages Africa. The silhouettes are great, I like how the silhouettes just merge with the border. I think that's very effective. The waves in the water are nice additions to it's surface. The plants, the boats, they all add a nice evening atmosphere to the foreground. A good moment in time aswell, it makes me think. I wonder what the man are doing, one is waving, maybe yelling or shouting something to the other one. Maybe coming back from fishing?

Good POV and composition, I like the bushes on the left closing the image there, also on the rightbottom, they have nice details, silhouettes are sharp.

And then, the colours and the sunset. Marvellous!! I think you've succeeded very well in showing a nice African sunset.

Maybe only some selective filtering of the highlight on the cloud above the sun, could be applied, making it a bit darker. Maybe regaining just that tiny bit more detail there.

A gem of a photo. I also have the same camera but often I get blur for low-light situations like sunset when I set it to "AUTO" mode. Which mode did you use and was it with tripod ?

Your composition on the tsibirina is not so far than mine on itasy!
But your light is better , a subtile declinaison of orange and pink!
Madagascar : what a fantastic and rich in colors country!
