The marketplace in Betafo near Antsirabe.

Markets in Madagascar are incredibly colourful. You could buy there everything, what you need. People from distant area arrive to town or village in the day of market. This is very good occasion to meet relatives and friends.

See you soon my TE friends; I hope, I will be back here in February... My new African escapade is starting soon...

Witaj, ale kolorowy ten targ, bardzo ciekawi ludzie. Prawie wsszyscy mają na glowie jakieś czapki, nkiektórzt wełniane, chociaz chyba nie bylo tak zimno. Widzę tu głównuie pomarańcze i chyba jakies banany z tyłu. Uwielbiam atmosfere takich bazarów. Pozdrawiam

Very interesting scene of the open market with so many people but I wonder why only orange/yellow fruit? Not much choice...there is banana at the far end.

Hello Andrzej,

Funny to see this marketplace. I have never been in Madagascar. But this could also be a marketplace in Guatemala, inland Indonesia or Angola. It just looks so similar as does the whole posture of the people, at ease but also with a healthy curiosity for your camerawork. :-)

I like this daily life scene on this busy market place. I like the orange color fruits, so bright. Everyone seems to sell the same thing. The child on the left looking carious at you is nice surprise for the image. thanks

I like this photo because it has so many colours,details
action and interest..This shot shows a market in Madagascar
incredibly colourful,traditional and this is the point I like it so mauch..The simplicity and the tradition are missing
from our days and this shot offers us a great interest..

Masz dużo szczęscia zaglądając w te wszystkie egzotyczne miejsca... ja bym się chyba trochę bał, szczególnie w świetle ostatnich wydarzeń. :(
