Baobabs mirror Photo

Photographer’s Note

Morondava, south of Madagascar.
After 12 hours of a terrible travel on a road completly destroyed by the rains, you finally arrive on the famous "allée des baobabs".
If you are lucky you just see the first baobabs with the begining of the end of the day!
And the water give you a real mirror of the "geants"
just colored by the last sun .
Magic!

Hello Bernard,
very beautiful view; it's like an fairy-tale which might begin something like this: |Once upon a time there lived a few strange baobabs which decided to travel to a faraway land one day..." :)
I like this mirror reflection. Very beautiful colours! anyway, concerning the composition of the image, I would suggest cropping a little of the left part of the photo... I can't make a Workshop variant now as i'm using my laptop which has no photoediting software :=/ And my other computer currently is "under construction"..

Salut Bernard,
Un voyage éprouvant visiblement, mais qui en vaut la peine. La lumière est merveilleuse et réussit à donner une allure légère à ces baobab plutôt patauds!
Superbe traitement des tons ocres et jaunes, par contre les verts sont un peu violents. Je ne sais pas si tu as saturé les couleurs en post traitement, mais cela aurait valu la peine de faire une saturation différente par teinte (si toutefois, tu as un logiciel qui le permet). Mais c'est jute un petit détail!

Hej Bernard!
First of all, your picture reminded me of a movie for kids called "Madagascar" - fabulous one. There were some merry lemurs climbing the baobab... I love the sight of the tree - incredible shape, stunning height and fantastic age.
A photo is quite good - The light is ok, soft and nice for eyes. The composition...yes, maybe you could crop the left side and a bit of bottom.
Good colours and I like your note!
