Excellent composition. This images has all the qualities of a classic. I find this image touching due to personal stories I have heard about the people in Madagascar.

Hello JS,
I can't stop to look at this photo... It is not a "striking" photo, and yet... I've looked at it many times since yesterday. I see a few flaws - and yet - I find this photo to be quite a jewel... And it would deserved a lot more praise than it has received until now.
The main flaw for me is her hand that seems to hold something. I wish it wasn't cut. And the photo might be a little too dark.
Composition wise... it is out of this world (except the cut hand). The baobab trees, the bag on her head, she is well positioned in your frame, the eyes... the eyes!
I really like this photo...

A surreal photo! There is something startling about the scene... Perhaps those intense eyes...
As Claire I am curious of the contents of the woman's hand!
Beautiful!

A picture I particularly like: the eyes, the scene, composition.
There is something 'special'.
