Embarcadère de Belo
Belo s/Tsiribihina est une petite bourgade de la côte ouest de Madagascar. C’est une étape obligatoire pour atteindre les Tsingy. Le niveau de la rivière varie en fonction de la marée. Quand le niveau est bas, seuls les pirogues et bateaux à fond plats peuvent traverser et atteindre cet embarcadère. Quand on arrive là, on a l’impression d’être à l’autre bout du monde. Ce qui ne manque pas d’être vrai, en partie. Il y a même un Novotel, qui ne manquera pas de vous surprendre ;o)…

Belo pier
Belo s/Tsiribihina is a small town of the West coast of Madagascar It’s an obligatory stop to reach Tsingy. The river level varies according to the tide. When the level is low, only the flat boats and the dugouts can cross and reach this pier. When you arrive there, you have the feeling to be at the other end of the earth. What does not fail to be true, partly. There is even a Novotel, which will not fail to surprise you ;o)...

Hi JeanPierre, excellent one, under a wonderful sky with little clouds and with a beautiful view on the muddy banks of the river.

Une image qui respire le calme ! Tout semble au repos dans bords de rivière ! Le ciel est splendide et permet de créer une belle ambiance dans cette image !

Hello Jean,
There are days when we are sitting idle in traffic jams where the "other side of the Earth" is exactely where we would want to be. I have determined that there are many days, probably 3 out of 4 where I wish to be there and out of the rush and bustle of the city, away from "STREET LIGHTS", stop signs, and "CONCRETE".
The clean air we see here in this image accompanied by the dugouts that lie on the beach brings out all these feelings as "Freedom's Bell" has rung again.

Excellentes couleurs pour celle-ci ! C'est vrai qu'on a l'impression d'être au bout du monde. Les embarcations et les constructions sont si sommaires...

JeanPierre,
it always amazes me how much an interesting sky and clouds makes all the difference for a nature and landscape photography. The same image without these clouds would be a dull, without interest, boring. Well seen and done!

Hi JP. I find it very interesting the way the light is working here. With that sky it made a lot of sense to move the horizon to where you did. Nice use of a polarizer as well. Well done JP.

Un bonne proportion ciel/sol avec cette texture des nuages sonnant de l'intérêt, et une belle vue de cet endroit tranquille... sans doute est ce l'heure de la sieste ou du repas, car il n'y a pas un chat!

Bonjour Jean-Pierre,
image des antipodes ou presque, beaucoup de kilomètres avec notre Europe, mais aussi beaucoup d'années, mais bon, les gens ne vivent peut-être pas plus mal que nous sur le plan du bonheur et de la joie de se lever le matin.
J'aime le cadrage qui laisse une place importante à un bien joli ciel.
