Reniala signifie baobab en malgache, cela veut également dire "mère de la forêt". La photo a été prise à la tombée du jour non loin de l'allée des baobabs, dans la région de Morondava.

Bonjour Quentin,

J'aime beaucoup ta photo. Superbe lumière, très chaude et belles réflexions.
Je trouve juste que l'image manque un poil de netteté. J’ai fait un rapide workshop en utilisant PS CS2 : smart sharpen (50% - 1px – lens blur) et 3 pts de contraste en plus.
Je trouve le reste de ta galerie vraiment sympa, spécialement les photos de Madagascar.

hi..
I have heard and read about baobab trees a lot..now we can c it..good shot but the hori line is almost middle of the frame,that is little disturbing the frame..I think you should crop more on upper side of the frame...best wishes...subir

Bonjour Quentin! J'aime les couleurs chaudes et la symetrie cree par le reflet sur l'eau. Les gros boababs et la terre brunatre cree un atmosphere onirique.

Marvelous reflection of these exotic trees in the peaceful lake. Very clear colors and wonderful details to this far away scene. I love how the shadows work on the banks on the lake.

I `m dreaming to see these unique trees one day and Madagacar must be a wonderful country for photographers.My only problem.... I do`nt speak french.
It`s a great shot with wonderful light and tones and very nice reflectionse.The little part of grass in the foreground works well for the composition.
