Collecting the pink Quartz.
Between Fianarantsoa and Antsirabe, all the family collect the stones in the mountains.
Then, they brake the quartz in small blocs of different sizes.
At the end of the week, a man coming from the town buy everything for just the money to feed the family...

Nice point of view which has been lowered to the eye level of children has well caught the volume of big pink quartz, though we can not see the face of the child behind mom.
I've never seen such big quartz is produced in Madagascar.
