Vert, si vert
Excusez-moi mes amis, il n’est pas toujours facile de concilier travail et les loisirs sur TE. J’ai réussi à poster en étant en déplacement, cette image de rizière.
Madagascar produit un des meilleurs riz au monde, mais c’est aussi un des plus grands importateurs de riz de piètre qualité. En effet, ce pays, parmi les 14 plus pauvres au monde préfère tirer des richesses de la qualité de ces produits et consommer des produits moins bons en tirant profit de la différence.
Cette photo a été tirée par la fenêtre du seul train de voyageurs de Madagascar : La Ligne FCE (Fianarantsoa – Cote Est)

Green, so green
Excuse me my friends, it’s not always easy to reconcile work and the TE leisure. I succeeded to post this image of rice fields while travelling for my job.
Madagascar produces one of best rice of the world, but it’s also one of the largest rice importers of poor quality rice. Indeed, this country, among the 14 poorer in the world prefers to get richness from the quality of these products and to consume worse products by benefiting of the difference.
This photo was shot through the window of the only passenger train of Madagascar: The FCE train (Fianarantsoa – East Coast)

magnifique rieière en espallier. Le vert tendre domine ce qui donne une impression de fraicheur. De plus ta note est très interressante.

I think this is an amazing shot. I love the sharpness and clarity in this photo, aswell as the vibrant different shades of green. I also like how still the photo looks, although you were travelling past in a train. Great Capture!

Hi Jean Pierre,
This is a nice compo from the rice fields with the bushes on the right top of the photo and a little in the lower left. I also like how you captured the curve in the field.
What was the weather like when you took this photo? Judging from the (missing) shadows I would guess cloudy. In that case you added a lot of contrast and saturation I think, maybe a bit too much.
Otherwise it is well done from a driving train.

Comme ma couleur préférée est le vert, je suis naturellement attirée par ton image d'un vert si intense et si saturé. C'est bien réalisé depuis le train et il y a quand-même de la profondeur car les rizières doivent contourner la terre à droite.

Hi Jean,
Nice photo it remind me of the yuanyang rice terrace in Yunnan.
The greens of the field is so refreshing I could almost breath the fresh air.

Hello Mr Fayeulle,
Very sad note, concerning the rice consumption in Madagascar.
But your photo is so lively with this "crazy" tone of rice green. This color is called "pistachio green" in Turkish. A figure with red garments amongst the greenery would explode this photo, imho.

C'est vrai que ces verts sont pechus et produisent une impression assez lumineuse, cela dit je pense que cette photo s'apprecie mieux a pleine taille car a ce format TE ca fait un peu bouillie de plants de riz.

J'etais moi aussi dans des rizieres tout juste repiquées autour de chez moi, et je retrouve ce vert si frais quand le soleil les eclaire(ici il pleut jour et nuit en ce moment). Une belle cascade de terrasses dans un cadrage serré.

Green it is...wowwwww. Even it is all green, you still found it in a very nice composition. It looks like a staircase to me with all these different layers. The red on the side is very good and essentiel for the overall composition.

Bonjour Jean-Pierre,
Tu as sans aucun doute réussi à capter cette lumière malgache magnifique qui donnent aux "jeunes" pousses dans la rizières des teintes vert tendre excellentes. J'aime beaucoup le cadrage aussi et l'aspect graphique de ta compo.
Ce train traverse vraiment des paysages superbes.
