Photographer’s Note

Stretched out on the bank, the family clothes are drying in the sun. When taking this picture, I had the vision of colourful pieces of material needed to make a patchwork.

Very nice and colourful photo. It makes me remember that my mother (in Portugal), in the old times, she did the same thing.

excellent ce patchwork, la compo est simple et très efficace.
Très bon contraste de couleurs.
La maman et son enfant ajoute une touche d'humanité, j'aime beaucoup.

Hi Daniel,
I like this shot with the clothes scattered everywhere on the green grass. The lady walking on the top of the hill with her child is wonderful, and the sky makes a good backdrop for her. A great daily life shot.

I've been taking a look at your gallery because you have really nice and original photos there. This composition is just great,it's really like a patchwork, all these colourful clothes drying in the sun an d that woman at the top with the baby is great there. You got a great photo with wonderful colours.

Cet endroit au bord de la RN7 est très typique avec ce linge qu'on étend un peu partout au bord de la route. je pense que tu fais une erreur en disant que c'est non loin de Fianar. J'ai aussi moult photos de cet endroit photogénique et cela se trouve à Ambohimandroso, 17 km après Ambatolampy, donc exactement à mi chemin entre Tana et Antsirabe. Pour ces infos je me fie à mes exif et Google Earth.
