Photographer’s Note

Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park, classified world inheritance of UNESCO in 1990, is located at the West of island. The plate of Bemaraha, with the shredded relief, consist of a limestone deposite massive.The erosion of water carved in limestones a tight network of deep cracks separated by grooved blades and acute points. The dense and dry forest grows the expanse beetwen the rocky forms.
Tsingy de Bemaraha area contains an original flora.

Czesc Andrzej,
Cudowne zdjecie, fantastyczny, skalisty, surowy krajobraz z pięknie wkomponowanym wiszacym mostkiem. Wlasnie m.in dla takich cudow natury warto zwiedzac swiat. Podobaja mi sie kolory. Widze ze odkrywasz nam coraz to ciekawsze zakatki, stopniujac napiecie. Swietnie dobrales ramke. Po prawej zmiescil sie jakis fragment zieleni, wiec mogles go wyciac albo pokazac wiecej. Ale to malo istotny szczegol. Swietna kompozycja. pozdrawiam. maki

Hi Andrzej,

How are you there? This shot is very good! It's a place I wanted to see but I had not enough time! It's a pity but thanks to you I can have a look on it. You captured the Tsingy very well and you managed to give it depth tanks to the bridge. Sharpness is impressive too. I love the way the horizon line is cut by those sharp rocks!

Hi Andrzej - wow, impressive and strange landscape, the stone formations look almost "lunar", very bizarre yet fascinating, the footbridge also contributes to the appeal of the photo.

This is my favourite of your series Andrzej. The footbridge provides a sense of scale to which I can relate; but also that 'shelf'is just staggering - it's an amazing formation.

A truly amazing landscape, Andrzej, and excellent sharpness in your image. But I am having diffciulty working out what is the jet-black layer across the middle of the frame. IS that water? Cheers . . . David

To chyba jeszcze bardziej niesamowite, robi wrażenie ta formacja skalna, to zdjęcie moim zdaniem ciekawsze od recenzowanego przeze mnie przed chwilą bo obecność mostu daję lepsze wrażenie rozmiarów tych skał no i widać wyrażnie te podcięcia. Dodam jeszcze, że jest na tym zdjęciu naprawde piękne niebo. Andrzej
