Photographer’s Note

It is the sea dusk, in Mozambica canal, between Majunga and Diego;
I follow the children who follow the boat going to fish by night.
The light is perfect : at the exact moment before the end of the sun who comes so fast in Tropics!

Hi Bernard,
The silhouettes are lovely not only of the children but of the boat as well. Beautiful orange sky against the monochromatic rest of the image and I like the walking motion and slight blur of movement with the kids feet.

C'est un beau couchant! et je trouve les enfants aux pieds dans l'eau trés bien rendus.
On voit bien leur mouvement dans les flaques.

Hello Bernard,
I like very much the way the children move and stand. Their postures are accentuated by the light that makes them look like silhouettes. This picture makes me feel the warm tropical atmosphere.

Le couchant est vraiment beau ici! J'aime bien l'orange du ciel et l'image des enfants sur la plague. Ils ont l'air tres content.
