Diego Suarez. The sea is high . I go to the emerald island with a "Vezo" sailor . He is often obliged to change the direction of the canoe . At the moment he take the arop with his hand I take the picture.

I think this shot is a storyteller and the wonderful idea is that every tale is possible! You perfectly cathched the wind in the canvas and the hard work of the sailor to go along with the mood of the sea.
Just a pity that his hand it's a bit dark, but even the silhouette effect make us imagine!

J'adore les pirogues a balancier ! J'aimerais bien faire ce trajet dont tu parles - un jour j'irais dans le nord et je m'essayerais a ton voyage.

J'aime l'atmosphère de cette photo, on sent le vent et la mer un peu agitée, le ciel sombre accentue cette impression.

Par contre, je ne suis jamais allé à la Réunion alors peut être un homonyme ? Je ne suis a Madagascar que depuis le début de cette année.

Quoi qu'il en soit, au plaisir de se rencontrer !

Bel instantané, ça me rappelle aussi une virée en pirogue, vraiment une bonne idée de cadrage, faire sentir un mouvement avec une main et un bout de voile...bravo
