The tassili Maghidet is a region of the Sahara, south-west Libya. It takes the form of a complex maze of eroded sandstone monoliths of about ten meters high maximum.

superb image, the light is great showing many details in the sand.

Wow, this is a very beautiful desert landscape, I love the wind swept sand pattern with stunning golden yellow color and the rocks are so nice and sharp, the inclusion of the green plant make this a perfect composition for this image. Thanks for sharing and you nice comments.

The contrast between the yellow sand and blue sky is outstanding. The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and detail. Your composition is fine with the inclusion of the the greenery in the foreground.

Salut Georges,
De très belles couleurs dans ton post malgré la présence de bruit dans la partie inférieure du sable et un peu sur les formations de grès. Sur quels réglages ISO étais-tu?
Par ailleurs, j'étais surpris de voir que ça ressemble beaucoup à ça et je croyais qu'il n'y en avait qu'en Australie...
Bien vu en tout cas.

Bonjour Georges,
Le jeu d'ombres pour souligner le graphisme du sable est tres beau et la construction de l'image en profindeur grace a la succession des elements et au cadrage vertical est tres bien vue, dommage pour la forte luminosite a droite, je pense qu'un petit crop pourrait reduire son importance dans denaturer cette belle image.

Bonjour Georges ,
Le désert est vraiment superbe . Cette composition nous en donne un magnifique exemple , avec les rochers au fond et ces jolis brins de verdure au premier plan . Et évidemment , ce si beau sable orangé orné de vaguelettes .
