Day IV

Every sunset was a show. But that day was my favorite, partly because of the skyline... We were lucky with the clouds too : more colors than usual.

Hard to describe the feelings. Imagine : the silence, a sweet wind, the slow cruise of the darkness...

Hi Stéphane, It is a beautiful sunset scene, indeed. The silhouette view of the ground well show the strange formation of the mountain in contrasting with the colorful strange formation of the sky. Nice capture of the colors and the contrast.

Ces bandes de nuages qui semblent partir dans deux directions opposées sont magnifiques. Et les couleurs sont splendides.
Les couchers de soleil dans le désert sont particulièrement magiques.

C'est toujours beau un ciel aux couleurs du coucher ou du lever de soleil, un sujet qui est somme toutes banal, mais qui plait à l'oeil et pas toujours évident à rendre sur photo ce qu'on ressent devant un tel spectacle.
Assurément séduisant.

Great sunset shot. The silhouette of the land is important to this shot, perhaps could have included a fraction more of the land. But still, colours and cloud formation are spectacular. Well done

The sunset is spectacular and the scattering effect of the clouds is brilliant. The silhouetted landscape stands out well agains the sunset. The is great stuff.

Très beau ciel Stephane, ça vallait assurément une photo.
Ce qui est très fort, c'est que les nuages sembles se repousser, comme 2 mêmes pôles d'un aimant.
Très belles couleurs !

It's not just the colours that are wonderful, but the actual cloud formation is so symmetrical. You have composed the shot to emphasise this. Well done

Plus qu'un beau travail de photo pour les lignes dans le ciel et ces couleurs extrordinaires, c'est une image pleine de poesie, même sans la note on entend le silence, on a l'ambiance desert..

Même s'il y en a pléthore sur TE, je ne me lasse jamais de ces beaux couchers de soleil. Celui-ci est effectivement très beau avec ces nuages qui semblent converger vers le centre de l'image. J'aime beaucoup la silhouette du relief en bas de la photo. Je te souhaite à toi et à tes proches un excellent Noël.

Stephane, this is a truly awesome sky. The rich orange clouds fanning out from the centre make for a great composition. The horizon is interesting with its many peaks and its low position in the frame emphasises the sky.

Salut Stéphane,

Même si j'aime les couchers de soleil, je trouve qu'en général ils sont un moyen (trop ?) simple et (trop ?) conventionnel d'accéder au succès.

Ici, tu as réussi à en donner plus: une véritable ambiance grâce à cet horizon uniquement présent sous la forme de silhouettes et avec cette note qui finit de nous transporter là bas...
