Photographer’s Note

Mosque located in the new town of Ghadamis. I had a long discussion with myself which of the different picture is my prefered one. I am not really sure - so post two addtional picture on the workshop Mosque 2 and Mosque 3.

sattes Blau, schöne Kontraste und klasse Bildaufbau. Und - nachdem was ich sehe - eine leichte Neigung. Trotzdem das beste der drei. Die einleitenden Schatten verstärken die Wirkung noch. Sehr schöne Aufnahme.

Hello Achim,
Of the three, my preference is for the one taken with the wide angle. I prefer the pov and the feeling of space. Nevertheless, this is also a good view of this very modern mosque. The colours are natural and the sharpness very good.

Hello Achim,
You have well managed the lighting here, the blue sky is superb, but I think which the mosque is a little too centred, however it's a good shot.

This light is simply incredible. It looks so pure, so "perfect". That's crazy.
Then, you get a strong sharpness and a beautiful compo. Well done.

All three photos have good POV’s and in reality I do prefer Mosque 3. This main posting has, in my opinion, to many distracting thing in the foreground. However, I like more the colours in here. The deep blue is very good and the light is excellent. Well done.

Bonsoir, mon ami Achim,
La Terre ne doit plus avoir beaucoup de secrets en regardant tous les pays que vous avez visités.
Ici, la photo donne une vue naturelle. La mosquée ressort à merveille. Les prises de vue présentées en atelier sont plus flatteuses pour l'oeil et la composition. Merci, Achim, pour ces trois réalisations.

You play excellent with light and shadow certainly in foreground, very lovely mosque in background, a pity for all the poles to the left, I know than is not the fault of the photographer, very well done. TFS.

very nice colours and good clarity indeed, however i prefer mosque3 , on this one i am a bit bothered by too many Lampposts and posts.

however it is a good shot.

Nice shot of this building, which shows up very well with the dark blue sky behind it. The lighting is good too, with the angle showing the shape of the building well. I think it would have been better to position without the wire, or clone out, but it's still a beautiful shot!

Dommage pour ces maudits poteaux, surtout celui qui encombre le ciel.

I remeber well this new mosque in Ghadames. It is captured well, with perfect sharpness and very good lighting. Among the options, my fevorite is the third one. Well done!

I like them all but I guess I prefer the composition of Mosque 3. Colours are excellent,the mosque reminds me a little the mosques of the Emirates.

Wonderful architecture, Achim. Not an easy choice, since I like all of them, but I guess that I would choose the one with the wide lens.

A difficult proposition choosing amongst the three shots...While I choose this for the angle, I like second one for the framing, the third one for the wide angle. But a very good package of three photos, which has given us food for thought to choose & thanks for that
