Photographer’s Note
Marsa El-Brega (or short: Brega) is the major oil and gas port from Libya. Besides the oil industry there is a settlement where the workers and their families are housed.
I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful color of the sea. A part of the beach is paved and you can find several benches as shown on the picture.
The construction on the background (in the sea) is an old terminal used to fill oil tankers, but out of use for almost 30 years.

Hi Harald,
Lovely shot! I really like the POV from behind the bench looking towards the sea, with the bench creating a window looking out to the terminal. The contrasts between the blue, turquoise, white and brown/orange hues are lovely. I'd probably rotate the photo slightly anti-clockwise to remove the tilt in the horizon, and maybe adjust tone levels a little bit to enhance the tones even more, but otherwise very nice shot! Well done!
