Photographer's Note

One of the Village Elders I met while conducting a survey in a North Nimba village. We were determining how people felt about a Nature Reserve near their village.
After a terrible civil war that changed much of the culture Liberia it was encouraging to see people go back to the type of life they had 15 years ago before the wars ravaged Liberia.

Hello Michael,

There aren't too many pictures from Liberia around, so that's where your gallery comes in! Even though the man does look like he's posing (and maybe even a bit bored by it), the actual topic itself and the great colour scheme make this shot an interesting one. I like it.
