I don't hesitate to crop photos when I see an opportunity. I did not crop this photo and did not spend any time composing it. I think the catching parts of the other two faces is what makes this photo interesting. Smiling kids in a troubled country.

Hi Michael,

First of all, welcome to TE where you'll find a lot of good portraitists.
You are right, reframing a photo is not always a good practice. In this case, it is a bit sad that the central kid face is a bit out of focus, with respect to the others.
