[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this photo when I passed through the town of Ganta in 1997. Liberia had just had an election and people had hopes that the war would end. Unfortunately war resumed in this area of the country and things are worse than before. Hopefully the recent elections in November of this year will turn things around.
This picture was scanned from a slide several years ago and was very dark. I used the shadow/highlight tool in Photoshop to lighten it up and then used Neat Image to reduce the noise that appeared when it was lightened.

How he's protecting egg packs carefully. It’s bread for family or milk for babies if he can find. He’s looks and face full of anxiety. Very decision moment, very nice. Well done.
