| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This was taken quite a while ago but my trip to Lesotho was such a memorable one I wanted to post some of my photographic memories.
Pictured here are local Basotho Herders perched on rocks waiting for their cattle to finish grazing.
We had taken a long drive out to see the infamous Maletsunyane Falls and upon reaching the view point we came across these kids just gazing out at the falls. They were somewhat shy at first but then became very interested in us and totally amazed at the fact that they could see themselves on the back of my camera after I had taken the photographs.
I just wish I had had a Polaroid Camera with me so I could have given them a photo to keep.
Next time.... |

Hi Kerry,
Great sky in the background. And one thing I like about this is that the boys are not looking at you. That means you interacted with them well which is one of the main condition of great photography. And a nice POV also, getting only the sky at the background.
regards,
Arnab T
For once more you did great job Kerry..
It is a great pic that presents perfectly details of the daily life of these people..From your note i can say that you could "communicate" with them in another level..And you gave them some really good memories..This was great..And as you said, maybe next time you will give them something more..Even if i don't really find what is more than your soul..Cause to do something like that you have to give a part of your heart to them..Bravo..
Friendly,
Nikos..
