Photographer’s Note

Three ducks I found wandering about at the Oxbow Lodge in Lesotho. If you are wondering what the one in the front is staring at so intently, it was aiming at me, and tried to bite me just after the picture was taken :-)

You could get muc more impact by shooting from a much lower point, I mean from ground level. That could make the difference between an ordinary shot and a very special one.

Les canards se seraient-ils transformés en oies du Capitole ?
Bonne prise de vue, il fallait la croquer au bon moment, c'est réussi !
Would the ducks have transformed themselves into geese of Capitole? Good catch of sight, it had to be crunched at the good time, it is successful!

I like how are those ducks placed in your composition. I really like the framing and the sharpness. Perhaps, I agree with Yitzhak, a shot from a lower point would have been a good idea but I think it's enough difficult to capture such moving subjects! Well done.

that's a nice one! quite funny too, good colors, strange but good composition too. Very well defined. Interesting one.

I agree with avigur, but I also should try different takes, and compare them.

Here we have the 3 musketeers. Great shot with real good framing and sharpness. I like that we find the color of the ground on the feathers of the ducks.

These are actually geese, just for the record! I really enjoy how they are all looking in different directions. I'd like to see just a bit more space around them, but I like this shot very much.
