Photographer’s Note
View of the plane and the mountains from a small mirror on the starboard wing strut. This was on a Lesotho Flying Doctor Service flight from Nkau to Kuebunyane. The LFDS conducts numerous daily flights to dozens of small remote airstrips in the mountains of Lesotho. Medications and doctors are flown in, and critical patients are flown out. As an aviation major, I was in Lesotho to observe the operations of the LFDS, as this is the type of flying I am training to do.
