Photographer’s Note
The highlands of Lesotho belong to the Basotho shepherds. Most of them are young boys, herding the sheep or cows of other people. Some of the newly borns will become theirs. In this way they can build up their own herd, which they will need to 'buy' a wife later.

Nice portrait with grat tones. Pity for the dog the put the head behind the boy just befor the shot, but the pictures has a great mood.
