Lesotho - Kingdom in the skies
You can really say so. The photos was taken on the mountain plateau which you reach once going up the Sani Pass from South Africa.
I think you are up to 3200m once you made the pass.
And then you find yourself in this amazing landscape with endless views over the mountains of Lesotho.
The pile of stones is build by the shepherds and you will find them everywhere. They basically should scare away the jackals as the pile might look like a human. The shepherds also urinate on these piles so that they not even look like human but also smell like human.
