| Just as we got into Lesotho up Sani Pass, we saw this man sitting there in the sunshine trying to warm up. It was freezing and you can see snow in the background. These people are unemployed and sit around all day. Lesotho is a beautiful country and I recommend a tour up Sani Pass from South Africa. Lesotho is a landlocked country inside of South Africa. It is ruled by a monarchy and is know as the "Mountain Kingdom" It contains the highest peak of the Drakensburg, Mont aux Sources. Sani Pass is a treacherous route into Lesotho from South Africa but it offers breath-taking scenery and a nice drink at the top in the highest pub in Africa. I recommend the Maluti beer too! |
