[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The well known Lesotho string Octet, made up of the finest Besotho musicians and top quality equipment entertained us after dinning on a lunch of locally made bread and beer. Even though the weather was cold, and damp, their blankets soaken they all still seemed to have a smile on their faces, whether this had anything to do with what they where smoking I don't know. Beats me in a place that rains so much, we actually got stuck for four hours after the rain had washed the road? away, they wear blankets. The sticks they carry were very interesting, each amle meber who undergoe s a certain operation at the age of sixtten gets one, they are a sort of history of their family, and the patterns on them where once made out of natural materials but they now use very thin telephone wire. If a shepherd has an accident or dies out in the wilds "can it get much wilder" thye can tell where he comes from.
