Taken just before landing through the airplane window.
Some tweaking was needed to make it look clear and vivid.

Where sea meets land in northern Kenya - where Mangroves grow.
The East African mangrove forests have been exploited for timber, charcoal making and as fishing grounds since the coast was colonized. These practices continue today but some areas are off limits for the locals for conservation purposes.

Evening Shir,

A very good photo. The many colors and tones interact beautifully. A great composition, with the river acting as a half-way line, but most of all an impressive nature motive. You dont see something like this every day. Also kudos on the framing.

This is an incredibly fascinating shot Shir. The clarity is impressive from an airplane. The differing lines really capture your attention, as well as the different colours from the varying terrain.
