Quelle prise! Cette vue au ras de l'eau montrant cet hippo en plein effort est superbe. les couleurs sont magnifiques et bien contrastées. Il est éclatant de netteté et se détache parfaitement sur le fond que je trouve très graphique avec ses branchages entremêlés. Que du tout bon.
Ca valait la peine d'attendre....

fine detail and superb focus here. the one thing i can think of to improve this shot would be if the hippo had been more to the right, looking/yawning into more empty space on the left. otherwise, it's still a fine shot. well done

Trés belle prise, bien cadré et où les couleurs sont superbes. J'aime beaucoup la texture de la peau de l'hippo, où le cuir craquelé de la machoire et la couleur des lévres sont impressionantes. Le tout accompagné d'un bel effet de mirroir. La photo a été prise depuis la berge, un bateau?

I have read that Hippos are the most dangerous of all the large African animals, even more dangerous than crocodiles.
