Good shot Coskun, and interesting note. You successfully kept the background blurred which emphasises the face. Maybe depth of field could have been deeper to get more of the head and ears in focus?

Hi Coskun, very good eye contact & sharp. The shallow DOF really keep the viewers focus on the subject.

To be honest it was not the lobe that I noticed or that attracted me to the shot but rather that wonderful lined face containing so many years of experience.Technically the shot is fine,sharp and well exposed although I would have cropped a touch on the right to make the head slightly less centred.

Nice capture and very interesting note. The position in the frame is slightly offputting.... I would recommend a shift to the right, but then maybe the ear would be less obvious.
Regardless, a good shot.

It will be an archive, but it's a good thing that the government has forbidden this tradition; it was a sort of mutilation for men's pleasure and domination.The worse was that women ended to think it was the best for themselves as it was with many african traditions.
But very good portrait indeed
