When the pink... comes true Photo

Photographer’s Note

Watching the flamingoes at Nakuru Lake can be called one of the most impressive moment of my trip, and pretty emotional.... so many of those graceful creatures makes you forget where you are, like the part of another world, like the part of you forgotten dream comes true....

The weather was in its changing mood, the storm was about to come up (which explaines rather strange coulor of the sky)... still enough light to sort out the colour of the birds.

wouahou! quelle prise de vue étonnante! tu parles d'une étendue rose!!!
Ils sont magnifiques, très gracieux, celui du milieu qui est tout ébouriffé est très amusant, on ne sait plus ou donner de la tête tellement ils sont nombreux.

Salut Irina, très beaux ces flamants rose, une espèce animale bien photogénique et ce qui est encore plus photogénique c'est lorsqu'ils sont en 'meute', en groupe. c'est le cas ici et ça rend vraiment bien ...
Celle de YAB est merveilleuse sur les flamants roses en plein vol.

Hello Irina! This is truly beautiful, and I can understand your strong feelings and that it almost "knocks" you out. Very well balanced photo with this special blue of the lake, the birds, again lake and sky, and very tiny another group of birds. Ce doit être un spectacle etonnant. Et je n'ose pas imaginer ce qu'ils se passent lorsqu'ils s'envolent !
En tout cas, visuellement, cet horizon rose est superbe, ces tâches roses au loin sont féériques.
