Photographer’s Note
One day on the safari drive I took whilst out in Kenya, we came across half a dozen lionesses relaxing in the heat of the afternoon.
They had had their fill of buffalo for lunch and were not at all bothered about the three of four minibus-loads of tourists closing in on them.
Having said that, the leader of the pack lsoon let me know that she knew exactly what I was doing there and happily stared straight at the camera for me.
