Photographer’s Note
This is a photo of a 33mm slide I took in 1974 enroute to the "Mountain Lodge". Mount Kenya can be seen in the background, and according to recent reports, the snow cover on the peak is rapidly disappearing because of Global Warming. The Mountain Lodge is built on stilts at a water hole, and the various wild animals emerge from the forest to drink at all times of the day and night.
