There is something especial in this expression but I don't understand well what it's exactly: a mixture of pride, hautghtiness and even arrogance maked more gentle by his adolescence and above all by this plaster on his neck...

Il y a quelque chose d'especial dans cet expression mais je n'arrive à comprendre bien quoi exactement: une melange de fierté et d'orgueil, même d'insolence audoucis par son adolescence et, surtout, par ce pansement au cou...

it is indeed a special expression, and a captivating one. i like what is going on in the background as well. i think you could have improved the picture a lot by adding a little contrast and by sharpening it, but there is nothing wrong with the motif.
