The cathedrale Saint Marie is the seat of the archbishop in Conakry. Sorry, but I have no more information about this church.

A small story about Conakry
The street numbering scheme of Conakry labels all roads with a two-letter code for the urban district, followed by a three digit number: odd for north-south streets and even for east-west, e.g. KA002 for a northbound street in the Kaloum district.

Beautiful view of the cathedral Interesting architecture. I lke the inclusion of this busy crowd here. Good composition.
Nice to see such places I will probably never see. I would like to see black africa but I am so afraid to go there.

nice presentation of the Cathedral in Conakry.I think that has a lot of Orthodox elements,like its dome and the characteristics roofs.I like the snapshot with all these people in the roads.Well done.

The architecture of this Cathedral is very interesting, because of its style so special.
Good framing that catches the whole building between the palms, with a great dynamism and an atmosphere full of life because of the crowd in the street.

The presence of the people has an effect of scale. The palm trees are framing well the catheral. The point of view is allowing us to see the deatils and colors of the architecture of the Cathedrale Sainte-Marie. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.
