This was in the depths for th Obuasi Ashanti Gold mine in ghana over this past summer. luckily enough were able to go 1.5km down into the ground in an actual working gold shaft. The demeanour of the men working in the shaft were very serious but still with an approchable air to them. the trick is in the photo is to get your head lamp to light up their face at the right time, which i hope i was able to do this time around, let me know what you all think.

Hi Adam,
Really fantastic this picture. You exploreed the light condition on it's best! His expression shows the courage and hard nerves one must have to endure this dangerous work. Really fantastic, dramatic and beautifull! Bravo!
Regards,
Flavia
Nice compo and expression of man face.
Hi Adam
Nice b&w. Wow not much room to move that 80-200 in a mine shaft. Good work.

Good stuff, Adam.
The awkward lightning situation in there - you’ve managed somehow to use to your advantage.
Nothing but the praises from me…
Stay vibrant, pal
