Welcome to TE Lorenzo. Well framed shot of this interesting boat detail. The strom in the distance is a good backdrop, though maybe a lower PoV would have left it with a less central horizon. We're allowed to post to 800 pixel, might as use them.

For your first photo here, it makes a good starter. I like the photo it brings in all the elements of the sea and storm... a reminder to show some respect to the sea.

Lorenzo, this photo brings back a flood of memories and feelings and therefore for me, it carries a strong message--certainly an excellent reason for capturing it. Color, climate, industry, African culture are all included in this photo. Often photographers try to place the horizon line at points other than the vertical center, but I don't mind it here at all. The boat seems to be yearning for the sea. I even find myself contemplating the designs in the sand, so congratualtions on a fine photo! Doug
