Here are my favorite beads. This shot is in the "trader" section of the bead market roughly an hour and a half outside of Accra.
Traditionally chevrons (the blue one)are from Venice, although there are many new imitations as chevrons are becoming more popular again. The true chevrons display their age according to the number of layers they have, or the more layers the more expensive as well - some fetching as much as 150$.
Nothing much else to add about this shot, I didn't notice this at the time i shot it, but yellow plus blue equals green - the progression of the shot from left to right and how the blue still manages to stand out. |
