| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| A typical Gambian house in the urban areas close to the capital, Banjul. I was invited to this house to witness how the family living here live. There were 15 kids and three women living in cramped conditions without running water or electricity. |

Hi Paul, This is an absolutely beautiful shot! The colours are outstanding and I love how all these different items are (neatly) scattered around the courtyard. The people all have a good attitude as do the 2 chicken! I just wonder why were there no men living there? This image has a lot of human interest and I think it's an excellent shot!
