Gambia - about 2 km from Serekunda beach -which is crowded with tourists - just walk along the coast and find the real Gambia so near !!! My son walking with his little african friend - the name is already out of our minds but the remembrance stays . For me this is real education ...
scan of old slide - bit upgrade contrast and stroke

nice colors and good capture. focus is good but a little soft. orange road shrinking off to infiinity due to perspective is nice

hi inn,

such a strong image with good increased contrast and sharp color scale. children look great - like copy & pasted there on purpose..
unfortunately agree with your note.

cheers,

Serdar

Wow! Feel suddenly like speaking orange too. Very aesthetic and symbolic of links between races/people/cultures.

Hi, Inn.
A very good one.
I like the scene in the large road.
Beautiful colors too.
Best wishes. Grazyna.

I like your composition, Inn. The boys are almost centered, but the road leads the eye to one side, so it works. The red soil certainly suggests tropical Africa. It's nice how they're in step with each other, suggesting harmony.

The shot is a bit noisy in the sky, but it's hard to avoid that in these scans, at least for a non-expert like me.

Regards, Ken.

Excellent compo and POV, I like the red road and the two children. Nice textures.

TFS,

Andreea

Amazing red road Inn, beautiful image with good feeling of large spaces, your subjects are really nice and well paced in this beautiful and colored composition, well done, compliments.
Have a nice week
Ciao

Hi Inn, very good work!
i like a lot the colour of the road, the beautiful perspective, and where you have placed the subjects!
perfect to have in the composition 1/3 sky+2/3 road!
Bravo!
ciao!

Hi Inn, Wonderful colours & great depth, the subject & title are excellent, superb light, a lovely warm photo, TFS, kind regards Wilson.

They walk together, their stride synchronized, they walk harmony into the earth. Great image, Inn. All is right with the world in this frame. For the duration of this photo, the whole world is okay. -Hugh (P.S. I just saw this photo featured on the TE home page today 1.44 p.m. NYC time!)
