Photographer’s Note

Gambia(Africas smallest country) is famous birdwatching destination. Situated on the coast of West Africa, it is one of the continent’s smallest countries, but it has an impressive avifauna and offers visitors from Europe an ideal introduction to the colourful world of African birds. In January the weather should be sunny and dry and with the prospect of maybe 300 bird species to see.

Egretta garzetta Little Egret
Egretta alba Great White Egret

Hi Andrzej!
Early evening I postrocessed a heron image from kerala,but now I posted an other one.
Kerala was great for birdwatching too.
Good composition with these three species in the brown grass.
Sharpness is perfect.

Witaj Podoba mi się, ze jest tych czapli tak duzo i mogłeś do nich podejść tak blisko. Fajnie wyglądaja w tej wysokiej trawie. Bardzo ładne zdjecie. Odróżniam białe od ciemnych, ale nie wiem, które sa trzecie. Pozdrawiam

Such an abundant wildlife shot, Really impressive how many snowy egret you capture in one shot, Looks like bird heaven. A wonderful collection of two species, good sharpness and contrast. Beautiful shot.

I first thought you were talking about 'the kingdom of regrets' :-). I never heard about the name 'Egret', but surely I know this type of bird!
