Photographer's Note

This is the Gambia River, not far from Janjanbureh and these boats are the ones we can take to go on a little cruise around the Baboon Islands. These small islands, situated in this river, form the River Gambia National Park, which is a refuge for threathened animals, like hippos, and it also has a Chimpanzee Rehabilitation Camp. Usually, people are not allowed to land on the islands, but it's possible to surround the islands by boat and watch the animals.
