This young child
was collecting dung
to burn for heating
on the shore of Hayk lake.
So shy but so kind
she was very happy to see
the photos I took her.
The time to play
is far away already...

Beautiful portrait with a nice composition, indeed amazing image. She seems so happy, might have wanted that photo.
I usually use a mobile printer, because there is a region where mail is not delivered.

La maggior parte dei ritratti che non mi conquistano hanno la loro carenza nello sfondo, che secondo me è importantissimo.
Lo dimostra questa immagine, di una pulizia straordinaria grazie anche alla scelta dello sfondo.
Non mi dilungo sugli altri pregi, che sono piu' d'uno, dalla collocazione del soggetto nell'inquadratura, alla messa a fuoco selettiva sulla gerla, alla corda disposta in diagonale.

Hello Luca,

Very nice portrait! The focus feels like slightly being in front of the face, but still sharp enough for a good portrait! I like the detail with the rope and the basket. Very nice composition with those diagonal lines in it! Love it!
Portraits do not get the attention here on TE they deserve.

Forse questa è la migliore tra tutti i ritratti che hai fatto, per grazia e perfezione compositiva. C'è anche una buona assonanza di colori e una certa dinamicità dovuta alla posizione in diagonale.
Come sempre è un piacere guardarle.

What a wonderful portrait and true note.A great shot with nice colors and good contrast.
Today I booked my flight to India.31st of december till 31 of january2009.mainly Kerala and Tamil Nadu.Scenes like your wonderful image are my reason to travel to destinations where the livingstandard is not so high developed and complicated like here in our stupid world.
