Photographer’s Note

It was not simple to reach Omo valley.
We found slippery tracks
and mud everywhere.

When the sun appeared
and we finally went down
to the green hills
of the Omo plains
we were the only car
who succeded to went all over
the track, that day.

It was a magic moment
and the night too.

But the next day
we found heavy rain
along our path
and we found hard to went back
and with some efforts too!

Wow! What an adventure, looks like my kind of place!! :-) I dream about such adventure, yet I think I am already growing too old to experience it. Sad.
Very nice photo...I am sure your friends were not impressed that you were clicking while THEY were trying to get you out of there! LOL.

Ciao Luca,
a me questa foto sembra incredibile visto che quando ci sono stato era da 5 mesi che non aveva piovuto e la gente soffriva la siccità e pregava affinchè piovesse.
Ottima immagine che documenta un momento particolare e difficile in stile "pure adventure". Complimenti e ciao.

It reminds me the problem we had with our taxi in Morroco (see photo). I think those moment will last for ever as souvenirs.

The spirit of travel...I love this one. The last light of the day is just great for photography. Excellent mood and a great picture in a difficult situation.
