Nice, real, honest, good, beautifull smile indeed!
I like the real honest smile + the fact she wears her traditional jewlery with a western t-shirt, still with great elegance.
20 years ago, I was hanging around the Kasbah of Azilah, with the Blind and his Son (sound biblical) and on his t-shirt he had "Who shot JR?"!
Surrealistic!

Hello Boaz
Very good contrast with very dark and very light colors. Fresh clear red, yellow and green on necklace. Little bit hard light from backside, but maybe there is (out of picture) right side white wall? what reflects (really much) light to girls shadowside.
And of course, Big smile and little bit hand, what is trying to cover shying in quicly moment.
Is this crosslight? What somebody dont like?
Anyway, I like.
Regards
Jussi

bonjour,
très joli portait.
les couleurs sont belles.
La lumière vient peut être un peu trop de derrière...
merci du partage

You've captured a very natural 'pose' by this young woman, Boaz, and whilst the side-lighting has created a very contrasty image, the lack of fill-flash works quite well here as it accentuates her ivory teeth and thus her smile. I like the shallow DOF too. Cheers . . . David

beautiful shot!! People are just the best subjects to photograph. Did you learn any Amaharic while you were there.
