I think this is a great capture of the woman. Nicely composed and a very good exposure. However, I have to admit, it looks to me as though you have been too heavy handed with post processing. I think Neat Image might be the culprit, but the textures of her skin look way too smooth and unconvincing to me. A nice portrait.

Wow Kris,

What a great shot! It's nice to see there are still places such as this in the world that have evidentally not been influenced too much by western cultures. Or choose to stick with there cultures.
I have always wanted to visit Africa again (as I lived there when I was a child), to experience and photograph the people and culture.

Another amazing photo. So interesting to look at. I find this more interesting to look at then some National Geographic photos of Africa. the lighting is excellent and composition is too. The mud backdrop is great and the women could not be more interesting to look at. Excellent photo! JP

What a beautiful pose she is so graceful, i can imagine when she walks she will also be graceful despite her heavy pregnancy. The colours are very harmonious.

Good scene. Very interesting subject well captured. Perhaps better to have allowed more space to the right. The wall in the background on the left is interesting but draws attention away from the woman as the main subject. The image is a little flat and could benefit from a more saturation.

Krzysztof, this is an amazing photo! The brown tones are fabulous (look at the sole of her foot matching the animal skin), and with that hair and body decoration she does look like a model ready for a photo shoot.
I think the composition is equally outstanding. My only problem is with the bottle in the foreground -- it looks as though you decided you needed it and were trying to find a spot for it and couldn't decide where it fits -- but maybe you didn't touch it at all.
Also, I like the ankle bracelet on her left leg, but after looking at the picture for a while I think I would have liked to be able to see that left leg better, too.
Her bag is a nice addition, helping to separate the ground surface from the wattle-and-daub wall in the back and giving more depth to the image.
