This old man of the Hammer tribe was picking up leftovers after the market had closed. His attitude was still resolute and defiant in spite of all he has been through. He refused to take some money for his photograph but gladly shook my hand

An excellent candid portrait! Good overall exposure and detail in what looks to be some harsh overhead light.

Another beautiful portrait! Your exposure was perfect! Many times people underexpose Africans & African Americans, losing all the detail in the face, but you managed to get an excellent exposure. I like his proud face and he is definitely making a connection with you . Good work!

Nice Portrait Neil :) the shirt is a bit overexposed, I guess you wound't have got details on his face otherwise.
